The US as an important end market

GreenV, an internationally renowned group of horticultural suppliers, is expanding its reach by adding another greenhouse manufacturing company to its portfolio, this time it’s here in the United States. The GreenV group, which at the time of writing, includes Prins Group (greenhouse building), Stolze (installation technology), and HT Verboom (internal transport systems), will take a majority stake in Prins USA.

Formed in late 2020 through the merger of Prins Group and Stolze, GreenV is expanding its footprint with Prins USA being its second acquisition this year, following the earlier acquisition of HT Verboom in July 2022. While Prins Group has been a major supplier in the US greenhouse industry for years, Prins USA was not part of the original GreenV establishment.

With this acquisition, Prins USA will contribute to GreenV’s growth ambitions, particularly in North America. It will serve as a crucial steppingstone for expanding into the US market. Operating as a separate subsidiary within GreenV, Prins USA will enhance the group’s capabilities, aligning with its vision to be a global leader in greenhouse building projects.
